Thank you for your interest in doing a PhD with me. I am currently looking for up to 2 PhD students to start in the autumn of 2027.
I have direct funding for 1 PhD student who has home fee status. There is a slight chance that this position can be upgraded to cover overseas fees in exceptional cases.
Furthermore, I can support 1 further student (irrespective of fee status) in applying for a President's PhD scholarship. There are 3 alternative deadlines for this fellowship, but the first one (in November) offers the best chances of success.
Because Imperial's application system can be slow and unwieldy, I'd like to do a fairly minimal preselection step before recommending you to apply formally. For this, please send me your transcripts and CV via email by the following deadlines:
After these deadlines, I might invite you to a short interview taking place in the same week. You don't need reference letters for the pre-selection, but please make sure they are ready by the deadlines in case we want to go ahead with the formal process.
